Sir
Arthur Conan Doyle's "Sherlock Holmes"
stories had quite a following on radio and
still remains popular today.
The series was
started by Edith Meiser who not only starred
as the heroine in the show but scripted
every episode and Made Sherlock Holmes a
reality on American radio.
There were many
different performers who did the voices of
Holmes and Watson but the most popular was
Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes and Nigel
Bruce as Professor Watson.
